Manchester United fans have named the players they believe should leave Old Trafford by the end of this season.
In a video aired this afternoon by United Peoples TV, expert Sam Peoples suggested seven players who he believed could be sold or left this summer – Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Tim Fosu- Mensah, Andreas Pereira, Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez.
People also asked fans to comment on whether Paul Pogba should be added to the list.
Most fans agreed with the list of seven, with a slight majority also for selling Pogba "if the price is right".
The player most fans thought was another chance at Old Trafford was Tim Fosu-Mensah.
"My sales list is exactly the same, but I would keep Fosu Mensah because I really want him to be good," said one.
Other messages to support the Dutch were:
"Keep Mensah, let go of the rest."
"Keep Pogba and Mensah and sell the rest."
"Wouldn't mind if Fosu-Mensah got a chance."
"If we don't get a defensive midfielder, I would try Fosu-Mensah again."
The fans agreed to have Alexis Sanchez leave the club with comments such as:
"Cancel the Sanchez contract, even if it means a payment."
"Sanchez has to go."
A few fans offered an ingenious solution to the dilemma of Chilean wages:
"Can't we trade Sanchez for Ighalo?"
"United should ask the Chinese club that Ighalo came from to take Sanchez for free because he can handle his wages."
There was also little support for Jesse Lingard in the comments, while some fans suggested some additional names, including David de Gea, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, and Victor Lindelof.
Andreas Pereira was spared the hypothetical culling by some who suggested he could be used as a squad player or borrowed.
