Berlin derby – not the usual fiery affair, but goals aplenty

The Berlin derby is usually a spectacular event full of fireworks and fan torches, not this time, but there were many goals.

The Bundesliga is back, with the Berlin derby Hertha Berlin meets the city rivals Union Berlin.

The match likes many big city rivalries, a passionate affair that allows fans to scream and scream, boast and brag, and even cry and groan.

Forget Dortmund against Schalke. The Berlin derby has the potential to become Germany's toughest rivalry. 🔥

The first Berlin derby of 2020 is a much darker thing given the impact of COVID-19.

Luck even though the players are playing their part.

The gates were plentiful at least from one side of Berlin, including one or two blasters.

The Herthas Ibisevic opener is an absolute header.

The hosts took the initiative from this goal in the 50th minute and brought the result to three and zero within twelve minutes.

Lukebakio scored number two within a minute and Cunha made three in 61.

The third goal was another special and an even more special festival that commemorates Bebeto and the 1994 World Cup.

Matheus Cunha soon became a father and celebrated his goal with the famous swing baby.

Boyata turns this into a number four uprising in the 77th minute. Another header from a corner.

Bragging rights go to the Hertha side of Berlin.
