Having fallen out of favor with Jose Mourinho, Anthony Martial has become an integral part of Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaers team.

Martial has been publicly criticized by Mourinho and was in and out of the page, but is now looking back on his best.

We compared some statistics from the French international under Solskjaer to those he recorded with Mourinho at United to see where he improved.

Martial's record under Mourinho

Games: 106
Starts: 68
Side appearances: 38

Gates: 27th
Helps: 17th

Minutes per destination: 226.5
Minutes per goal or assist: 139

Martial's record under Solskjaer

Games: 53
Starts: 42
Side appearances: 11

Gates: 20th
Helps: 8th

Minutes per destination: 179.8
Minutes per goal or assist: 128.3

As the statistics show, Martial scores a lot under Solskjaer and is more productive overall.

While his assist rate was higher under Mourinho, it was probably due to the fact that he was generally deployed far outside rather than in his preferred center-forward position.
