Manchester City will compete with Manchester United for Jack Grealish this summer when Bayern Munich are ready to win their prize for the wanton winger Leroy Sane.
Grealish has long been the subject of United's interest. The Red Devils are known to take precedence this summer over Villa midfielder Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Jude Bellingham from Birmingham. However, you may have to deal with the interest in the transfer market.
Sane has declined to offer a new contract to City. With only 12 months left for his Etihad contract, this summer is the club's last chance to benefit from the German international. A move Bayern Munich has been a priority for Sane for some time.
The city still has more than £ 50m ready for Sane, though Bayern are unwilling to pay for the winger over the roof.
According to the Telegraph, Grealish will "come into the city's thinking" if FC Bayern meet the city's price.
The city is likely to have a creative void in the summer. In addition to Sane, the club is ready to lose playmaker and club legend David Silva. Grealish has shown that he can act on the left wing as well as centrally for Aston Villa throughout the campaign.
Unlike the Telegraph, Mirror is close to signing Grealish after telling friends recently that it found a house to buy in the northwest.

Villa is believed to charge £ 80m for its captain – but that figure could well be reduced if she suffers from the decline.
Dean Smith's team is in second place in the Premier League, but only the goal difference currently separates them from safety.
City boss Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the midfielder, who has always praised Grealish throughout the season.
After the 3-0 victory of the citizens against Aston Villa in October, Guardiola Grealish described as "incredible". A Top Player ”before being named“ one of the best players in the league ”in January.

Together with Grealish, there are reports that City could also target Burnley's Dwight McNeil as a replacement for Sane this summer.
But only last week Guardiola indicated that a direct replacement for the German may not really be sought.
He said: "Gabriel [Jesus] can play on the left, Phil Foden can play on the left, we have Raheem [Sterling] there.
"We have big, talented players up front. Most of them are in good, healthy shape."
